CertifiedPlugs How certification works

AI‑built plug‑ins, certified on merit.

CertifiedPlugs is an independent QA service for audio plug-ins made with AI tools. We test your plug-in by hand in real DAWs. If it passes, it earns the seal and a test report you can show anyone. If it doesn't, you get a fix list.

A sample report. Driftwood is a made-up plug-in.

Making a plug-in with AI got easy. Making one that holds up in a session didn't.

AI tools can turn an idea into a working plug-in in an afternoon. The trouble shows up later, in someone's real project, at the worst moment.

  • It loads, then crashes the moment you change the sample rate.
  • Your settings are gone when you reopen the project tomorrow.
  • The knobs crackle as soon as you automate them.
  • CPU spikes when you drop the buffer to track.
  • It works in one DAW and quietly fails in another.
  • Nobody answers when something breaks.

How a plug-in gets certified

Built with any AI tool or framework, held to the same standard. Every plug-in is judged only on how it performs.

  1. Submit your build

Send the installers and a short description of what it does.

  2. We test it on real systems

Mac and Windows, the major DAWs, and every format you ship, by experienced testers who make music.

  3. You get a fix list

Anything that fails comes back with steps to reproduce it. Resubmit when it's fixed.

  4. Pass, and earn the seal

Your plug-in gets the CertifiedPlugs seal and a test report showing exactly what was checked.

For plug-in builders

  • Get a real QA pass before release, from experienced plug-in testers.
  • Find the crashes and glitches before your customers do.
  • Show buyers proof that your plug-in holds up, wherever you sell it.

For musicians

  • Look for the seal before you buy an AI-built plug-in.
  • Read the test report: which DAWs, which formats, which systems.
  • Try new tools from independent builders without gambling on a session.

Be first through the door.
